The rooftop bar at the Thompson San Antonio-Riverwalk is kicking off a series of full moon parties this summer, starting on the night of the Buck Moon, July 13.
Each year, three moons occur every season. The Buck Moon is the first – and usually the brightest – of this summer’s full moons.
To celebrate, the rooftop bar The Moon’s Daughters – named for the Greek goddess of the moon – will host a themed “cosmic night.”

The bar will serve special cocktails, and guests will get special drink coasters with a scannable QR code that will lead them to tarot insights by astrologer and card reader Kate Wind. They can check out the celestial display from a telescope, and listen to live music.
The indoor-outdoor lounge is located on the 20th floor of the hotel and overlooks downtown San Antonio. Patrons must be 21 and up; no cash.
The hotel and bar are located at 114 Lexington Ave. in San Antonio. Cash is not accepted and pets are not allowed.
